This past Tuesday night at MetLife Arena in New Jersey, Chris Martin of Coldplay performed a beautiful piano rendition of Linkin Park’s ‘Crawling’ in honor of Chester Bennington. The moment was captured by YouTube user evets122 and we’re so glad it was.

To crush your heart just a little more, Linkin Park member Mike Shinoda posted a clip to Instagram. He captioned, ‘thank you Coldplay, it sounded beautiful”. 😭😭😭😭

Chester Bennington took his own life on July 20th. He was 41.
