Hayley Williams prances through the streets of New York surrounded by ‘Fake Happy’ faces in the new video. The bands own Zac Farro directed the video which was just released last week. The upside-down smiley faces which surround her have become somewhat synonymous with the song and their latest album After Laughter.

This past Friday Paramore woke up extra early to perform on the Good Morning America concert series in NYC! The band performed three hits from After Laughter, ‘Hard Times’, ‘Fake Happy’ and ‘Rose-Colored Boy’. If this doesn’t get you excited to jam out with them at Next Big Thing I don’t know what could!

Paramore came through 97x back in 2007 for a Green Room before they were the powerhouse rockers they are today. At the time, we didn’t have the fancy performance studio we have today so this was literally recorded in the corner of a conference room. That same year they played Next Big Thing 7 with us and of course ‘Misery Business’ shot them to straight to stardom!

Hayley Williams has long worked stylist Brian J. O’Connor since the orange/red Misery Business hair days. Together they have worked on building the very successful goodDYEyoung hair dye line which has features funky colors like Blue Ruin and Rock Lobster. Thinking of a new look? Try one of the four crazy new shades!

Paramore visited BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge in between shows while on their British run in support of After Laughter, and gave the world a performance to rejoice about. The band performed “Hard Times” but most notably covered Drake’s smash hit “Passionfruit”. The instrumentation of the vibe(y) song is unlike any Paramore song I’ve ever heard, and I think Drake would approve. Haley Williams takes over vocal duties while the rest of the band figures out how to replace the steel drums with picked guitar sounds.
