Pumpkin Truck Catches Fire, Closes Florida Highway

It’s the first official day of fall and Florida sure knows how to kick it off with a bang. Fox 13 reports that a semi carrying pumpkins caught fire this morning in Pasco County. The crash and cleanup closed portions of south bound I-75 near state road 52 for hours causing huge backups. FHP reports that the semi was heading SB when it traveled into the gore. WALK THE MOON Drop New Single ‘One Foot’, Video Filmed During Solar Eclipse

New music!! Today WALK THE MOON released a new single “One Foot” along with a music video. What’s amazing is that the video was planned to precisely coincide with the recent total solar eclipse. Shot in Joshua Tree National Park, the video had to be filmed with specialized lenses similar to the solar eclipse glasses we all had to wear!

Lara Croft makes her return! The official trailer for the next reboot of Tomb Raider premiered last night on The Late Late Show with James Corden. Back in 2001 Angelina Jolie took on the role and this time around Alicia Vikander has the job. The film hits theaters March 16th of 2018.

Road Tolls in Florida begin again on Thursday

As Fox 13 reported, cars and trucks traveling our roadways will begin to pay tolls again starting Thursday September 21st at 12:01am. It’s hard to believe but they were lifted back September 5th to assist in Hurricane Irma evacuation and recovery efforts. The only stretch that will remain lifted is the Homestead Extension of Florida’s Turnpike south of the interchange with S.R. 874 (Mile Post 0-17) to assist the Florida Keys in Irma relief.
