It’s the first official day of fall and Florida sure knows how to kick it off with a bang. Fox 13 reports that a semi carrying pumpkins caught fire this morning in Pasco County. The crash and cleanup closed portions of south bound I-75 near state road 52 for hours causing huge backups. FHP reports that the semi was heading SB when it traveled into the gore. It continued for a few hundred feet before fire began taking over the truck. The driver, Lortatia Marshall, 44, miraculously escaped without injuries! FHP also says the damage to the road is ‘extensive’ and closures could remain for awhile. Read more here.
