All proceeds from the ‘Houston Relief Tee’s’ created by Blink-182 will go to relief efforts for the victims of the Hurricane Harvey in Texas. They are just one of a huge number of celebrities and artists coming forward to do what they can to provide support. Just this week Fall Out Boy announced proceeds from their Houston show in November will go towards the efforts as well.
The devastating flooding left behind by Harvey is unimaginable and for all of us here in Florida, a little EXTRA terrifying because we know it could have very well been us. Please, donate and help whatever way you can!
Mark Hoppus of Blink-182 also took it upon himself to help in another way. He is using his own clothing line, Hi My Name Is Mark, to encourage people to clean out their closets and send their clothes to the Hurricane Harvey victims. He posted, “This is a great way to get involved and help those in need right now. Repost and Tag #icleanedoutmyclosetforhouston and #HMNIMhouston we’ll be randomly giving away some gifts to those who spread the word”.
It’s an awesome way to send help if you don’t have the cash to make a financial donation.
