Tomorrowland is an EDM music festival that takes place in Parc de Can Zam in Barcelona. USA Today reported that during one of the performances on Sunday a technical malfunction caused the entire stage to become engulfed in flames. The festival and fire department quickly moved to evacuate the more than 20,000 attendees and it took twelve fire fighting units to finally get the fire extinguished. As you can see in the video, one of the lighting units in the top right of the stage seems to spark and catch fire. The situation rapidly escalated after that but thankfully, only about 20 people were treated with either minor health issues or anxiety. No deaths or serious injuries occurred.
