If you think Florida is often overlooked on artists’ tour schedules, imagine how residents of Bangor, Maine must feel. One of those residents, and perhaps the most famous of all Maine residents, is legendary horror writer Stephen King. That is of course when he isn’t hanging out in Sarasota, his other place of residence.
Last Friday was not a quiet night on the streets of Bangor, as Rancid and Dropkick Murphys rolled into town. One would have to assume Stephen King is pretty hardcore considering the nature of his novels, but it’s still hard to imagine him partaking in debauchery with the rest of [More]

Panic! At The Disco’s Brendon Urie only has a few more weeks in his run as Charlie Price in Kinky Boots on Broadway and it seems his patience is wearing thin. It’s long been a tradition for Broadway actors to meet fans and sign Playbill’s outside the stage door after shows. However we all know Brendon is not your average Broadway star and his fans most DEFINITELY are not the average fans. To make matters worse, it seems from Twitter that some of these fans are not even there to see the show first. Just obsessive PATD fans that wait before and after shows to see him.

In an interview with NME, Dave Grohl opened a Pandora’s box after revealing that “probably the biggest pop star in the world” sings backing vocals on a track from the upcoming Foo Fighters album, Concrete and Gold. Recording most of the album at LA’s East West Studios, he would go on to explain that it is not uncommon to run into Shania Twain, Lady Gaga, or Justin Timberlake on any given day.

Las Vegas rockers, The Killers, have announced a 2018 North American tour in support of their upcoming album, Wonderful Wonderful. The tour kicks off in the dead of winter in Toronto on January 5th before making its way down to Miami on January 23rd and then Orlando on January 24th.
I have to admit that when I saw the press release, I was thinking there was no way that Florida, and especially Tampa, would be included. The Killers have evolved into perennial festival headliners who don’t need to tour extensively. Well, I was right and wrong, thankfully. Orlando is close enough for [More]

Today is one of the biggest Friday’s of the year in terms of new music releases.
Perhaps the most anticipated new album of the year, Arcade Fire’s Everything Now, is finally here. It’s released via Columbia Records, their first album to be released via a major label. As you should know by now, they will be swinging through Tampa for the first time ever (that’s not a fact, but I don’t think they’ve ever played here as far as I can go back).
