The 1975 have been racking up the publicity and acclaim of late, and this week was no different. With all of the craziness that this week has brought, I can understand how you may have missed their performance on Monday night’s Late Night with Seth Meyers. The Manchester based and Next Big Thing bound band performed their latest single off of their sophomore album, “Somebody Else”.

888 might seem like a brand new band, but in fact they are a reincarnated version of Drop Dead, Gorgeous, a hardcore manic metal band that originated in 2004. Between 2004 and 2011 they released three full length albums, but subsequently went on a hiatus following 2011. They briefly reappeared in 2013 as Bleach Blonde, but that didn’t last.

Despite blowing up the charts and touring for well over a year straight, it’s been quite a while since Twenty One Pilots released an album. That’s about to change this fall, as the duo just announced they will be releasing Blurryface Live. It’s not as exciting as new original material, but I’m sure that will come sooner rather than later. As for now, the clique will be happy with anything they release.
It will be available on November 25th, and it will contain the following songs:
